After staying in 30+ hotels during our cross-Canada trip from BC to PEI/NS and back, this was about average compared to most properties we visited. The room was comfortable enough, though we noticed some humidity and a mild odour on the lower level room. The pool was closed during our stay, which was disappointing. Breakfast was actually the highlight, as well as the woman running it, although the selection felt somewhat limited. The front desk experience was professional but not especially warm or welcoming when I had arrived vs others. One thing that stood out was the unusually high damage deposit, which can add up quickly for families travelling from hotel to hotel. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but there is definitely room for improvement in hospitality, room freshness, and overall value for the price being charged, I would recommend staying here.
