This is a darling hotel, with the restaurant being the highlight. The room was tiny but perfectly adequate for our needs, and was clean and bright. Check in isn’t until 4 pm so don’t come early (though they will hold your luggage while you do something else.) Breakfast was nice as well.

The hotel is very authentic. The room was small but clean; the bathroom really tiny. Our kids loved the bunk bed. The breakfast was in a great ambience and the quality of the food good. Astrid Lindgren World is within walking distance, that allowed us to leave the car in the parking garage (free for guests). Also the square outside the hotel was nice to sit at during the evening, with some activities for kids (free mini golf or table tennis).

The hotel was great and right in the center of town. The only reason I gave 4 stars for facilities is that there was no communication that the spa would be closed. After long travels, looking forward to a sauna or soak and not being able to get that really dampers the day. Just wish the hotel had sent a note is all.

Det var alt, hvad vi kunne ønske til en overnatning i forbindelse med besøg i Astrid Lindgrens Verden. Morgenbuffeten var helt fantastisk!! Der manglede intet. Vi spiste på hotellet om aftenen. Mad var fin, men ingen måde prangende/jævn. PAS PÅ, hvis I vælger børnebuffeten. Der betales 20,00 sek. pr. år barnet er, men det var ikke noget, vi umiddelbart så og blev heller ikke gjort opmærksomme på det. Den var ikke særlig interessant heller. Kommer gerne igen :-)

Med tanke på att väldigt många barnfamiljer bodde på hotellet får man vara beredd på att det är ganska livat vid frukosten. Men maten var god och personale n mycket trevlig. Man plockade undan disken ganska snabbt, men det tog för lång tid innan borden torkades av. Det såg inte trevligt ut för nya gäster som skulle äta frukost. Förbättringspotential.

Trevligt hotell i centrala Vimmerby mycket folk på hotellets restaurang kvälls tid den helgen vi var där. Personalen var väldigt serviceminded och hjälpsamma och rummen var moderna och fräscha. Frukosten var mycket bra och varierande. Det fanns gott om plats i parkeringhuset som hotellet hänvisade till under vår vistelse.
