The hotel is very authentic. The room was small but clean; the bathroom really tiny. Our kids loved the bunk bed. The breakfast was in a great ambience and the quality of the food good. Astrid Lindgren World is within walking distance, that allowed us to leave the car in the parking garage (free for guests). Also the square outside the hotel was nice to sit at during the evening, with some activities for kids (free mini golf or table tennis).

The hotel was great and right in the center of town. The only reason I gave 4 stars for facilities is that there was no communication that the spa would be closed. After long travels, looking forward to a sauna or soak and not being able to get that really dampers the day. Just wish the hotel had sent a note is all.

We stayed two nights in the junior suite with our 2y/o. Great room for a family as there was a walk in closet for storage, separate living room area with a built in extra bed, as well as a large bedroom (doors shut to make it a proper room). Great bathroom with a shower and bath. Location wise it’s in the middle of the little town with shops nearby, and a close walk to Astrid Lindgren’s World. Service was amazing. However, the breakfast could definitely improve and the room was so cold we had to sleep with extra layers. Overall a good stay and would maybe return in the summer when it’s warmer :)

VÀldigt trevlig personal som gjorde sitt bÀsta, men de verkade underbemannade. Frukost Vid frukosten var det tomt i de flesta grytor, tallrikar saknades m.m. Trots att klockan bara var 9.15. Tog 20 min extra att Àta, pga all vÀntan. Baconen sÄg vÀldigt trÄkiga ut, men smakade ok. Bara laktosfri mjölk och yoghurt. Vore gott med vanlig. Rummet KylskÄpet fungerade inte. NÀr man duschade översvÀmmades halva badrummet, för duschvÀggen var inte tÀt vid golvet. Fint med gammaldags blandare till handfatet, men det tar mycket lÀngre tid att fÄ rÀtt temperatur - riskfyllt för barn och slöseri med vatten. Annars vÀldigt fint & frÀscht rum. Bra gardiner som mörklade ordentligt och trevligt med en utdragbar tv vid sÀngen.

Fina rum, men otillgÀngligt med barnvagn

Efter en hel dag pÄ Astrid Lindgrens vÀrld med sovande barn i vagn blev vi aningen less nÀr det visade sig att hotellrummet (familjerum) lÄg sÄ att man var tvungen att lyfta barnvagnen (Thule cross 2) uppför en smal svÀngd trappa. Denna var sÄ tight att man var tvungen att lyfta vagnen över sjÀlva handledaren för att komma i svÀng. Sedan stÄr det en möbel ovanför trappan i utrymningsvÀg som man behövde flytta pÄ för att komma förbi med vagnen. Vi fick inte byta rum dÄ de inte hade nÄgra andra familjerum mer tillgÀngligt. Detta framgÄr inte pÄ hotels.com hemsida. Jag tycker att receptionisten kunde ha nÀmnt detta nÀr hon ser att vi har sovande barn i vagnen. Maten pÄ hotellets restaurang var riktigt bra och restaurangpersonalen var oerhört serviceminded, bra frukost. Stort och bra rum, men sÀngen var pÄ tok för mjuk. Men hÀrligt med stort badrum och balkong. VÀldigt trevlig receptionist nÀr vi checkade ut.

Vackert hotell att trivas pÄ.

Det Àr ett fint hotell med en avslappnande atmosfÀr. God mat och sköna loungemöbler. Vacker inredning i de allmÀnna utrymmena. Gratis parkering. Vi bokade ett dubbelrum med 2 enkelsÀngar och fick dÄ ett pyttelitet rum, dÀr det sÄg ut som om man satt in en extrasÀng. Den stod framför fönstret, bland element o gardiner. Mitt pÄ vÀggen var en stor lampa, antagligen tÀnkt som en sÀnglampa. Det fanns ocksÄ endast ett sÀngbord. Som vanligt gÀllande de flesta hotellrum fanns bara en stol för 2 personer. Badrummet var precis sÄ stort att man fick plats. Inredning var torftig, spartansk. Garderoben var max 30 cm djup. Allting var minimalistiskt till en kostnad av ca 1600kr hade vi önskat oss lite mer.

Jag har arbetat 16 Ă„r inom hotellbranschen och har dĂ€rför höga förvĂ€ntningar pĂ„ service och funktion. Rummet: Rummet var trĂ„ngt och dammigt – damm syntes tydligt pĂ„ skrivbord, sĂ€nglampor och fönsterkarm, vilket gav ett intryck av slarvig stĂ€dning. Frukost & matsal: Trots förhandsbokad frukosttid var matsalen full och buffĂ©n inte pĂ„fylld – flera serveringsstationer saknade mat, och det fanns disk kvar överallt. Äggen var dessutom grönaktiga , vilket var bĂ„de visuellt störande och hĂ€lsorelaterat oroande. Reception & kommunikation: Vid incheckning gavs ingen information proaktivt – vi behövde sjĂ€lva frĂ„ga om allt frĂ„n frukosttid till Wi-Fi-uppkoppling samt receptionens öppettider. Det kĂ€ndes oengagerat och ogenomtĂ€nkt. Förslag till förbĂ€ttring: Jag rekommenderar att hotellet ser över stĂ€drutiner och bemanning vid frukost för att undvika överfull matsal och tom buffĂ©, samt att receptionen aktivt informerar gĂ€ster vid ankomst. Vi kommer inte besöka hotellet igen och inte heller rekommendera detta hotell

Ett mysigt och fint hotell. Rummen i den nyare delen, flygeln, kÀnns lyxigare Àn de i den gamla delen, av de rum jag har bott i. Matsalen Àr jÀttefin och frukosten ljuvlig. Mycket trevlig personal i framför allt receptionen. Rekommenderar varmt hotellet.
