Property was partly under construction. Located in some kind of Industrial area where restaurants etc close at 9pm. Generally a used condition. Not the most pleasant stay. But at least bed was good and clean.

very unfriendly staff. although rooms were free and they knew that extensive and noisy construction work was taking place near my room, they gave me this dark room excrement. bathroom tiny. Room is not cleaned unless you ask for it the day before.

Magisk opphold i Vimmerby.

Hele oppholdet i Vimmerby var magisk. Elsker Astrid Lindgren og hennes fortellinger. Var og sÄ Astrids bardomshjem, besÞkte Katthult, Bullerbyen og Filmbyen. SmÄland er et fantastisk sted, veldig koselig med sine rÞde, karasteristiske "stugor". Kunne virkelig fÞke at man ble satt tilbake til tiden som "Emil" levde pÄ Katthult. Hotell Ronja var et forholdsvis eldre hotell, med mange spesielle utforminger, pÄbygg osv. Det var rent og hadde en flott sjarm. Resepsjonsbetjeningen var veldig hyggelig og omsorgsfull. Villig til Ä bidra til at oppholdet vÄrt i Vimmerby ble minnerikt ved at de kom med forslag til hva man kunne gjÞre og oppleve i den tiden vi hadde til rÄdighet. Vil aldri glemme dette og jeg drar dit gjerne igjen.

Undvik det hĂ€r hotellet – inte vĂ€rt pengarna

Jag hade tyvĂ€rr en mycket negativ upplevelse pĂ„ det hĂ€r hotellet. Rummet kĂ€ndes snuskigt och ofrĂ€scht. Vattnet i duschen vĂ€xlade temperatur hela tiden beroende pĂ„ om nĂ„gon annan i byggnaden anvĂ€nde vatten – inte direkt en avkopplande upplevelse. DĂ€rtill var duschdraperiet mögligt, och toalettpapperskorgen var gammal, rostig och Ă€cklig. Receptionen sĂ„g stĂ€ndigt rörig och oorganiserad ut, vilket gav ett dĂ„ligt första intryck. FrukostbuffĂ©n var en stor besvikelse – vĂ€ldigt enkel, nĂ€stan bara de billigaste rĂ„varorna, och mycket begrĂ€nsat utbud. Inget som höll hotellstandard. Hotellet var dessutom dyrt, och det kĂ€ndes verkligen inte som om det var vĂ€rt priset. Allt var slitet och kĂ€ndes eftersatt. Det enda positiva jag kan sĂ€ga Ă€r att sĂ€ngarna faktiskt var bekvĂ€ma och sköna att sova i – men det rĂ€cker tyvĂ€rr inte för att vĂ€ga upp för resten. Jag rekommenderar inte detta hotell.

Hotell nÀra ALV

Vi bodde tvÄ nÀtter pÄ hotellet. Första rummet vi fick var ofrÀscht, dÄligt stÀdat och luktade unket. Vi fick byta till ett annat rum och det kÀndes inte heller sÄ trevligt eftersom det saknades fönster och möjlighet att vÀdra. Men AC fanns. SÀngarna var slitna och borde bytas ut. VÄr upplevelse Àr att delar av hotellet Àr i behov av renovering. Personalen var hjÀlpsamma. Frukosten var ok, men det saknades kylplatta till smöret och pÄlÀgget. Hotellet ligger lite avsides frÄn Astrid Lindgrens vÀrld samt centrum, sÄ man kan gÄ men det tar 20- 30 min. Wifi finns att tillgÄ.

Lidt skuffende familieferie

Vi boede i vÊrelset med tilhÞrende kÞkken. VÊrelset i sig selv var rigtig fint, men kÞkkenet var meget sparsomt. Der var fx kun en gryde, hvilket gÞr det lidt svÊrt at lave mad til 5 personer. Det var ogsÄ presset at skulle sidde 5 personer omkring spisebordet Den tilhÞrende morgenmad var god. DesvÊrre mÞdte vi op til et Hotel med en pool der ikke var brugbar. Den info havde vi ikke fÄet inden vi tog afsted, men fik fÞrst besked da vi stod pÄ hoetellet. Vi stod derfor med 3 meget skuffede bÞrn, da poolen netop havde vÊret afgÞrende for at vi valgte lige prÊcis det hotel. Vi betalte samme pris pÄ trods af den ikke brugbare pool, sÄ vi fÞler desvÊrre ikke vi har fÄet det vi betalte for.

Ok hotell utan charm

Helt ok hotell. Rent och frÀscht. Bra sÀngar, AC pÄ rummet. Fint badrum. Frukosten var okej, basic. Det man behöver men inte sÄ mycket extra. Vi hade ett rum som saknade fönster ut, fönster endast mot korridoren. Fick lov att ha gardiner för hela tiden eftersom folk annars kan se rakt in i rummet sÄ det kÀndes lite som att bo i en bunker. Inte sÄ charmigt hotell, ligger mitt pÄ ett industriomrÄde. TrÄkig lekplats utanför, inget lekrum för barnen. NÄgot som kan förbÀttras dÄ det Àr mÄnga familjer med mindre barn pga lÀge nÀra Astrid Lindgrens vÀrld. Det tar ca 30 minuter att promenera till Astrid Lindgrens vÀrld. GÄr inga bussar eller sÄ till Astrid Lindgrens vÀrld frÄn hotellet. Kan varken avrÄda eller direkt rekommendera detta hotell. VÀljer nog nÄgot annat nÀsta gÄng.

Perfekt övernattning för den stora familjen

Ett stort och rymligt rum, perfekt övernattning för den stora familjen eller stort sÀllskap, plus ett praktiskt litet pentry. Det enda som drog ner pÄ det lite var stÀdningen/ dammet under sÀngar och i hörnor, nÄgot vi kanske inte lagt mÀrke till om vi inte hade haft barn i rummet som Àr överallt och leker. Men allt som allt ett rent och frÀscht intryck.

Innan incheckning fick vi meddelande om att poolen var ur funktion och en uppmaning att höra av oss med frÄgor, vilket vi gjorde men utan svar. Rummet motsvarade verkligen inte kostnaden. LÄg standard, vÀldigt lyhört och bristfÀllig stÀdning. Rummet var slitet och inte underhÄllet pÄ lÀnge.
