This is not a hotel,
I had a very large flat with space for 5 to sleep! Having booked a double room I was surprise,
I arrived and no one there to tell me where I needed to go!
Had to ring the number for the hotel and eventually someone came with key!
There is no reception, no signs but the tiniest one you could imagine that says the name,
No lift, so had to walk up 5 floors of stairs
No floor mat in the bathroom,
When was leaving had to ring for someone to come and collect the key,
She tried getting me to pay again saying I hadn’t paid! I found the receipt and showed them that I had paid. I also spoke to the guy on the phone and he was insisting that I had not paid, he even said “I have tried to charge your card but it would not go through!” I asked him how he got the hold of my card? He just kept saying that I hadn’t paid and that he was a business man and knew the business!
once she sent him the copy of the receipt he told her that I could go. I believe he was trying to con me. So be cautious.
I have made a complaint to the booking company,Expedia, and they are looking into it.
