The hotel made this one of our favorite vacations. It is nestled into a beautiful side street near the Stephan Platz, with all the available shops, restaurants, and activities, without the crowded tourist streets. The hotel and rooms were beautifully decorated with an attentive, welcoming staff. The breakfast and dining area were spectacular, with professional staff just waiting to assist with any questions. The food is superb. The walk to train stops was short which opened all of Vienna to our itinerary. All in all, the hitel is magnificient.

We stayed at Hotel Austria during our short stay in Vienna and had a lovely experience. The reception staff were polite and helpful. They were happy to suggest places where we could buy local products to take back home. What I found particularly thoughtful was they helped us arrange a cab to the airport and, despite our very early departure, organising coffee and a hearty breakfast for us in the wee hours of the morning so that we would not have to leave hungry. The reception is staffed 24/7, which is extremely convenient. The rooms are spacious and have a lovely old-world charm. The hotel is situated on a quiet lane, yet is conveniently close to the station and bus stop. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, as well as a beautiful Greek church, adding to the charm of the neighbourhood. The breakfast also offered a good spread and was a great way to start the day. Overall, we had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Hotel Austria. The warm, thoughtful and helpful staff made our experience all the more memorable.
