We loved the unique decor and the amazing staff! Our room was always clean and used items (towels, cups) were replaced daily. The French press and real cream were an unexpected touch that was refreshing. The pool and hot tub were a hit. Grandma’s Basement was a blast!

We have stayed here several times and my kids love the pool and waterslide! I appreciate the fun 70s aesthetic and atmosphere is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although the location is not super close to downtown, the bus is right out front, and the mall being right there makes it easy to get anything you need. Also the restaurant on site, The Ruby, is delicious!

This is probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in and I've booked hotels in 5 Canadian cities as well as places in the US and Southeast Asia, including 5 star resorts. The hotel is conveniently located next to KFC, across a shopping center, and around 10 minutes to downtown. The yo-yo and comic book made my teenager happy and retro design intrigued my parents. We were provided connecting rooms that locked on both sides. Great for families.The staff was also friendly. The stay was lovely.

Our family of four fell in love with the charm and throwback theme of Hotel Zed! Such sweet vintage details from check in (a working typewriter!), fantastic decor and convenient cafe for breakfast. Grandma's basement was a highlight, as well as the hot tub and water slide were great after a long travel day. We had an efficient 1- bedroom suite with mini kitchen and loved the 1970s vibe throughout. We requested a fan and even that was in a retro style! Highly recommend, great home base to explore Victoria for a couple days. A delightful change from the standard hotel and very fun theme.

Staff were wonderful. The overall experience gave me an old school vibe. You could tellnthatnthebstaff really cared about the guests experience and were so accommodating to our needs while there. The rooms were beautifully designed with modern touches. The restaurant is BOMB! Pool is great for kids. Sauna 10/10. Zero complaints. Everything was near perfect and the little touches definitely didnt go un-noticed. Great work everyone! Im not easy to impress and y'all impressed me!
