Solo Traveller. Fantastic location, St Marco - 10 min walk to most places. Great restaurants and sightseeing's near by. The hotel itself was good, fantastic staff - nothing was too much for them. Room size and air con was descent and clean. Breakfast was descent - heavy on the continental, only hot option was scrabbled eggs. But great Continental selection. Overall great hotel and location - highly recommend it.

The hotel was excellent! We loved loved loved it!!! The location was great because it was close to everything and easily accessible from the water taxi. It was good to know to pack light because we had to carry our bags up/down some stairs. The staff was excellent and very helpful and spoke good English. There was a free breakfast buffet that was very good and a restaurant for dinner and drinks in the evening. I would highly recommend Albergo San Marco to anyone going to Venice!

It is a wonderful hotel just steps from San Marco Square. Right in the heart of the action, but quietly tucked away. One small bridge to navigate with luggage. Hotel has an elevator. Staff was wonderful and made great restaurant suggestions. Take their advice! Especially 1000 Gourmet for the best pizza of your life. Venice is incredible.
