If you need a stay outside Amarillo for a great price, this is it. Staff was nice, breakfast was homemade muffins that beat any hotel chain's powdered eggs. Clean room, working bathroom, great stay. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Clean, comfortable room with great beds. The new owners will be making changes when they can. Nice folks. Old pool was filled in and is used for sitting and eating breakfast. New owners plan picnic area with grills and umbrellas in the future.

The property management is friendly. The rain-style shower head had excellent pressure. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary grab-and-go breakfast with homemade muffins and fresh fruit was a welcome treat.

Wonderful stay at an original 60’s like motel that we stayed in back then. Owners greeted us - locally owned not a franchise. Very personable. Rooms are furnished with vintage 60’s but new beds, ac and smart tv. Clean and we slept great. Would stay there again. Even received a bag of goodies at checkout. Unique place with a couple trying to make a go of it and they’re doing a good job.

Exactly what you'd expect in a small town walk up motel. Good coffee, nice packed bag breakfast with good fruits. The Rooster Mexican restaurant nearby was quaint and food delicious. Town itself route 66 appropriate!

The owners were very pleasant and very friendly. They were very courteous and helpful. We found out that they just bought the place from the previous owner and what their plans are. We wished them the best in their endeavors and may they prosper in their new venture. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our one night stay, compared to the other hotels we stayed at. It was very quiet and we slept like a baby. Thank you for the stay and we hope to visit again.

Easy check in, room looked and SMELLED clean. Pet friendly, $15 deposit. Had an outstanding selection of K-cup coffee. Don't expect a lot from breakfast, but the owners give you a snack bag with enough stuff in it to get you through till lunch. Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed a quick one night stay while driving across the country, happy to have found this motel as there are few options in this remote area. The new owners are wonderful and doing a great job. Clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. Pet friendly. And… the hosts provide everyone with coffee and a travel “goodie bag” at departure….donuts, fruit, etc. So thoughtful. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through this area!
