Don’t stay here for the trendy design: this hotel is frozen in circa 2004. Instead, stay here for the clean and spacious rooms, the fantastic breakfast buffet, the nice and helpful staff, the free parking in the back, and its location right on the edge of the city center.

They rate this hotel as 4 star but I would rate it 2 to 3 stars only - although the breakfast is truly fantastic - a 5 star breakfast. Whilst the hotel is quite tired in its decor etc it was very clean. A major gripe is that they do not automatically service the rooms each day. You have to 'opt in' for a service rather than having an opt out policy. This is not written anywhere - even at the hotel there is no sign at reception and they rely on the staff communicating this - it was not communicated to us so we got no service & only found out after returning from a day out. The towels are thread bare & definitely need to be updated. It looks like the hotel is slowly refurbishing - our bathroom was remodelled though not well as the floor gets very wet when having a shower.

Bra hotell, centralt i stan med bra frukost!

Vi bodde över ett natt med familjen (2v +2barn) tillsammans med farförÀldrar i annat rum. Vi nyttjade inte nÀrheten till stan men för den som söker ett central belÀget hotell Àr det kanon. Hotellet i sig Àr ganska intetsÀgande pÄ utsidan, men rummen Àr Àr bÀttre men inget fancy, frÀscha badrum. Sköna sÀngar och vi sov bra. Frukosten (som jag sÄg innan hade fÄtt bra kommentarer) mötte förvÀntningarna - den var riktigt bra och hade allt vi brukar önska oss av en hotellfrukost i Sverige. Bra och trevligt bemötande i receptionen, de löste Àven en spjÀlsÀng snabbt pÄ kvÀllen (dÄ hotellet missat den i vÄrt rum). Hotellets parkering pÄ innergÄrden Àr begrÀnsat antal platser och obokningsbar. SÄ för den som kommer med bil och behöver parkera sÄ Àr ett bra tips att köra in pÄ tvÀrgatan bakom hotellet (LÀrkgatan), dÀr finns gott om gatuparkeringar (gratis pÄ helgen dessutom).
