The staff at the check-in counter were not accommodating. I had emailed the hotel and asked for a ground floor room but was put on the 3rd floor. I stated that I had asked for a ground floor room due to a bad knee and when the employee looked on the computer he said “Oh, you booked through Expedia. What rate did you pay?” I told him I thought it was $167.00 and he said “I can give you a ground floor for $190.00. I declined because I felt like I was being extorted and he obviously didn’t like that I booked through Expedia. I stayed for 2 nights and my room was not made up nor were clean towels provided. It is kind of a shame because the room was clean and modern but the service was not up to par. I will look elsewhere in the future.

Older property that has been fairly well maintained. Doors were locked before 10pm so had a difficult time getting in. Suite was a nice size for a long weekend stay, but bathroom was the size of a small ensuite. Mattress was too soft. Amenities were very basic with no Kleenex in the room. Building has a liquor store on the front and a bar/restaurant in the back. Suite has a funky smell to it and exterior sound was quite loud during the night. Not attractive from exterior

Not recommended at all! The staff were not helpful when I tried to cancel one night of my stay. Their response was basically, "It's your problem, contact the Expedia and complain." I also couldn't sleep because the hotel is located next to a busy rail junction. Trains were passing throughout the night, constantly sounding their horns. Cleanliness was another issue. The towels did not appear to be properly cleaned, and I noticed dirt on them. Finally, the advertised breakfast was very disappointing. It consisted of a small fridge with apple juice and yogurt, which they referred to as breakfast. I definitely would not stay here again.

At 3:00 a.m. the smoke detector went off several times. Due to nobody at the desk or contact my friend had to go out to the front desk and call a certain number for assistance three times. Finally she was able to unhook the smoke detector and take the battery out. But it still kept beeping. This Disturbed her sleep for I had surgery early in the morning the next day. There was no hair dryer in the room
