If you're looking for a place to sleep that wont break the bank then this is an ok option. Its really close to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen etc. The train and bus are 5 minutes walk very central. Rooms are dated, nothing special about it. I was up and out by 7am so I never had breakfast at the hotel and came back around 6pm. So the hotel was just a place for me to sleep.

Positive Good location for transportation, view good, breakfast okay, staff good, balcony view mountain good, room clean okay, restaurants nearby Negative no iron in hotel (even we asked in lobby), window screen ripped, hair dryer not working, very old building air circulation is not good so felt hot, no ac in room (but fan there), not convenient for family with baby/child

Clost proximity to Interlaken West station. River on either side was a nice view from balcony. Decent breakfast. Staff was friendly. Allowed us to keep luggage after checkout for a few hours which was a big help. Room didn't have AC which was a bit of an inconvenience in peak summer with temps in mid 90s. But rooms were equipped with fans and cracking windows open allowed room to cool down after sun down. Room was spacious for our party of four. Extra large bathroom which seemed an exception in Siwtzerland. There was one small issue - one of the beds had ants and one member of our party got ant bites while sleeping. Other than the ant issue, stay was great.

If you think your saving money, your not. Our room didn’t have a fridge so all the food we got from coop couldn’t be stored. So we lost that and ended up going out to eat way more than we wanted to. Everything is pretty old. They didn’t even have a garbage can. The only thing they had was a bucket in the bathroom with actual doggy bags. No actual bag that fit the bucket, but legitimately doggy bags. So if you litterly just need a place to sleep and shower, this is your place. Very convenient location to get on the train. And non of the receptionist were approachable. Every question seemed to bother them.

Very good location, just steps from Interlaken West Station. Prices are lower than most of other hotels in the area. Large bathtub, water pressure was good, temperature was excellently. Buffet breakfast was OK. Very limited room amenities, no fridge, no kettle, no bottle water, no coffee/tea, no clock, no power outlet near bedside tables. Garbage can only in bathroom. Bathroom no counter space, no shelf space, no cloth hook - the only hook had be used for garbages and hairdryer. Worn-out wallpaper. Poor wifi connectivity. Only 24 in tv. Perfect for travellers who only want a hot shower, a warm bed and a filling breakfast.
