At the Sankara the staff was very kind, helpful, and warm. The property offered on site restaurant and bar that I had breakfast and lunch at. This resort is in nature so there will be some gnats or mosquitoes, geckos and an occasional cat around. The showers did only get about lukewarm for my villa but outside of that everything was amazing.

It was our first time in Bali, and this resort made it an unforgettable experience. The service team—Linda, Ciara, Deisy, Chica, and all the other staff—were incredibly polite, professional, and attentive. The breakfast was excellent, and the yoga sessions and morning walks were wonderful experiences. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely love to come back!

Our stay at Sankara Resort & Spa Ubud was absolutely beautiful. The property itself is stunning, and they offer so many thoughtful amenities that make the experience feel special. The nightly activities and shows were a huge bonus and something we really enjoyed. The food and room service were both very good, and the spa was incredible—honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Overall, such a relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommend.

This hotel does have charm, however it is right next to an activity club with pickleball, ping-pong, swimming etc. Making some rooms extremely loud. We had to move rooms due to the nose going all day into late at night. Rooms, there were stains on curtains and linen drapes, and water pressure was non existent. There was cracks in the doors so bugs could get in as well. They have a complementary shuttle into ubud shopping. Getting there was no issue but shuttle never came to pick us up at scheduled time. We had to order a grab ourselves to get back to hotel. Overall not the expierence we were hoping for. Some employees were wonderful, while some made this experience less enjoyable. The gentleman at the front desk made it harder for us, for example when checking out. I asked for him to send employees to help with my luggage. He told me check out is at 12pm. It was 945am at the time. He said I would have to call the front desk to get help with my luggage. Even though I was at the front desk asking for help. Why would you tell me to call the front desk when we were at the front desk? With that said I will probably not be back.

The entire stay was amazing! It was truly a great experience to stay in such a beautiful place! The breakfast in the morning always had me ready to tackle whatever activity I had planned every day and the staff were very kind and helpful! I I hope I can return some time real soon!
