POSITIVES: Great pool; good quality food; some attentive members of staff; stylish, cosy and private villas; effective air conditioning; comfortable beds; very nice landscaping of the pool area and path to villas; free daily yoga / meditation activities; aloe vera dispenser was a nice touch; lots of storage room for both cases and clothing with plenty hangers; easy-to-use QR code for ordering room service or contacting reception; efficient room service. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: Shower heads are too weak and take far too long to rinse hair; shampoo and conditioner are not good quality - they need to be more hydrating / moisturising; lighting in the sink area is too dull and at a poor angle; only some of the lighting can be controlled from the bedside switches; shower caps are not provided, making using the rainfall shower difficult if you don’t want to wet your hair; toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet and there is no toilet brush provided; the pool table and equipment needs maintenance; attention to detail and attentiveness shown by staff is inconsistent. Overall, the place is absolutely lovely and beautifully designed; however, whilst incredibly stylish and eye-catching, some practical elements have taken a hit and certain areas need some TLC.

Fantastic boutique hotel in Tulum. EASY! fantastic staff and a complete no stress vacation. Food was great. and the cabins were awesome. Note. each room has a ‘dipping’ pool. Some are heated. If you want that hot tub, man sure that is what you book.

Beautiful small boutique resort. Maybe not the most desirable area of Tulum as many people want to be down by the beach, but with a rental car or bicycle we got around just fine. The property was serene, unique in design and staff/cleaning were excellent. Better service than most full service Marriott’s I stay at. Loved the private plunge pools and private outdoor shower.

The rooms were excellent and spotless. The pool in the villa and main pool were incredible. The path to the villas was breathless and definitely recommend this hotel just know you are not close the breach but rather the town and there is a coffee shop named Aroma Café 5 minutes walking which was amazing.
