It is not a new motel at all but the room was really clean, the proprietor was super nice and for a decent place to sleep after a late arrival and early departure, it fit the bill perfectly.

Want a clean room you can park right outside your room? This is the place. Our room was large and clean. The AC worked beautifully. The bathroom was clean and fairly large. It was also remodeled not that long ago. Would recommend.

This is a Route 66 motel that gives 50’s vibe, but delivers modern, upgraded rooms. Our bed was super comfortable; the bathroom had recently been redone with a newly tiled shower. The swimming pool was lovely, with a nice fence to block the wind. The check-in was easy, and every staff member we saw was helpful and friendly. Don’t let the price scare you away—this place is a gem!!!

Dated property, but very, very clean, which is our biggest concern wherever we stay. It was quiet, owner was very nice. Full bar on premises, which was nice after a long day on the road. Would recommend.

Front desk guy was extremely friendly. Gave some suggestion for restaurants. The building is very dated. Had a hard time finding outlets to be able to plug in my electronics. Obviously work is being done so there's a lot of construction materials in the parking lot. There were only a couple of guests there. The town of Tumucari itself is pretty run down. Most businesses are boarded up. It took me a bit to find a place for the pup to be able to run that wasn't full of mud or in an iffy area.

Interesting motel - fronting the (1/2 of roadside buildings old and shuttered) route 66. You check in at the bar. ( Free standing not attached)- nice person( owner)) checks you in quickly. Motel only had about 4/5 cars staying on a Mon in mid April. That can be a warning. My room was great, very large lots of bag etc storage and definitely clean. Very quiet on my stay. No breakfast, only a coffee maker in the room. Room did include a fridge and microwave. If your ok with an older, under used motel on a typical route 66 road in Tucumcari - this is your place.
