“Staff, owners and even guests all friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for owner snd staff. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in spacious, airy comfortable rooms. Plenty of free parking. Joanna was amazing, and even provided complimentary champgne for our wedding anniversary. Great food too. Our favourite place. We'll be staying again. Steve snd Jill.”

“On the whole ok. There was hair left on bathroom floor & taps, hairdryer was cold. Bed clean. Easy to park, tea & coffee provided. Narrow corridors which made it harder with luggage.”

“The property was so quaint with excellent location. The staff was very accommodating and Katie was a great help with our luggage We were in the attic bedroom on the highest floor. It was very warm in both bedrooms and all they good give us was one small fan and we had to request that. Two fans are necessary for any comfort.”

“The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful suggesting places to visit during our stay. Our room was beautiful, with some lovely touches. We had a coffee maker and yummy biscuits in our room. We also had dry robes in the wardrobe to use at the beach over the road. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as was dinner. Terrific ambiance, inside and out, including outdoor dining options, The hosts were helpful and charming, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and helping me fix a scheduling hiccup too. And there are two friendly pub cats! Super convenient location in the center of picturesque Lostwithiel, not far from the train station, though you do have a bit of a hill to climb. “The property is very close to Eden Project, nice and helpful owners and very good breakfast.”

“Very happy to have off street parking. Bus stop just outside property so chose to do bus trip to Padstow - this bus goes to Bodmin Parkway should you choose to travel by train to Bodmin. Nice and spacious to spread ourselves out. A few great pubs and main High St walking distance. Would stay again.”

“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”
