This hotel and staff proved to be spectacularly excellent. The design and set-up of the kiosk-style reception area was particularly handy and convenient for checking in and purchasing snacks. The breakfast was optimal as was the service of the staff. Our two rooms were spacey, comfortable, and clean. The contemporary design and lack of carpeting were particularly appreciated. We enjoyed the relaxing outdoor seating area as well as the different seating options in the lobby and dining areas. We will definitely return!

My last night of a 10 day road trip across the entire UP and down into the lower peninsula ended at this hotel. It was super clean. However, this hotel cost more than the Chicago hotel I stayed in at the start of the trip with zero amenities. Lastly, I got no rest due to the people above us trampling around until 2 am. I told the desk person upon check out and she said sorry we had a wedding party. Maybe put them on the first floor next time. Anyway, paper thin walls, no amenities, and overpriced for a small town hotel.
