Loved the variety of food and what a cool unique place one block away from Crystal lake. For $109/night, we thought it was a steal of a deal!! Comfy bed but since it’s next to window, would be nice to have privacy curtains, instead of standard shades. Overall, still giving it five stars. We felt like it was a bargain!!

We stayed in the two bedroom suite. It was adorable! Very clean and quiet. Great central location. Close to beaches and many other attractions. Great Rainbow trout fishing on Crystal lake right now too!! Only issue we had, and it was nothing the property did wrong, was the tiny bathroom. Bedrooms were on small side as well, but more than adequate for sleeping. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We're 6'5 and 5'8 and the bathroom (especially tub/shower) were definitely not made for taller/bigger people. However, it was absolutely cute and clean. I understand that's not something that can't be changed and despite that, we loved our stay 🙂

We stayed in Room 9, and honestly, I was nervous to stay here after reading some comments about mold/mildew. However, our room did not have this issue. Our room was very clean and decorated well with a TV, mini fridge, and microwave. The microwave didn’t heat well, but that was such a small inconvenience that didn’t really affect our stay. We also enjoyed the free breakfast items, especially the packaged banana bread. When in the area, you have to try the cherry pie à la mode at the Cherry Hut! We also enjoyed the Crunchwrap options at Five Shores Brewery.

This is our 3rd time staying here and it never disappoints. The room was very clean and made you feel like you were home. It’s been 5 years since we stayed last and I noticed the room has been painted and a change in decor. It was nice to see they strive to keeping the place inviting. Love staying somewhere with big fluffy towels and pillows not typical of most hotels. I appreciated the personalized communication from staff before, during and after our stay.

Pros… updated, clean, nicely decorated - people when in office were helpful… but… Cons… (1) contact phone number from Expedia was old / incorrect/ went to an unmonitored email so my 5 requests left to VM requesting an additional day were not answered. Needed to book elsewhere for the 4th (2) while the name says Coastal Suites and Resort… it was not coastal (limited access to crystal lake and not convenient), not a suite… at best a small motel room, and definitely not a resort (3) very pricey for what was on offer and (4) breakfast was limited/ no place to sit in the room and no common area that was not wet/ outside
