The manager was wonderfully helpful. Unfortunately, the carpet held a lot of moisture and appeared dirty. The shower controls were difficult to use. It was a great loction to the ferry to Macinac Island.

Check in was very easy. The hotel is clean. Could use the carpet cleaned on the high traffic area. The room was very clean. The only ding I would give the room was the bedding. The blanket had hair all over it and none of it was mine. The coverlette looked cheap, like they used old drapes on the bed. Staff was great. Grounds were well maintained. I loved the gazebo. Able to sit in the gazebo catching any breeze. I would stay there again.

Property administration personnel was very rude and very short and unprofessional. He could not explain any of the questions I had about the many documents he made me sign which is something I never had to do at any other hotels. The hotel is Nit resort by far not. The minimum expectation is welcoming and hospitality was great. The rooms were not that great process will be horrible.
