“The Lodge itself was beautiful and comfortable ideal for a family or couple with a dog, 2 bathrooms, washing machine, and so spacious!... the views of Milbrook and Plymouth from Lodge 23 are astounding. A great place to relax. Although pet friendly, I think if you own just one, well behaved dog he or she should be allowed off-lead and monitored closely...but it's a no, I understand why, but my dog is a registered working dog and it was her holiday too. Maybe a dog area should be considered...

“It's location must be it's selling point. Lovely seaviews & sunset watching point. Great to hear the waves from our room. Burger meal in restaurant and breakfast roll good. Easy, available car parking on site. Pleasant staff. Definitely not a 4*, more like a nice 3*. Such a shame re the tatty paintwork from room doorways and corridors to include outside. Looks a bit tired in places generally. Tiny room, tiny shower. Mattress, work boots, empty cardboard box all left in the corridor outside...
