A comfortable and quiet room upstairs from an active university club setting. With Canadian group of seven paintings highlighted in the decor, the setting offers a low key, somewhat old-world charm. The desk staff were very helpful.

This was my third stay at the University Club. Every time I have stayed here, I get an excellent night's sleep. The beds are comfortable and the location is quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. My fourth booking is already made and I'm looking forward to it.

This was our first stay at the University club and we were really impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Their attitude, along with the small size of the hotel, made us feel really welcome. The room was well-appointed, tastefully furnished, and very quiet. What's more, considering the location, the rate was competitive. The University Club will definitely be our first choice the next time we're in Toronto.

We were very happy with our stay at the University Club of Toronto. The staff were friendly, location was excellent, the bed was so comfortable and rooms were great. We would happily stay there again if we make a trip to Toronto in the future.

Great location and facilities, the gym especially. Bed very comfortable and good quality toiletries. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was limited (would have been nice to eat together with family in other rooms rather than have the same delivery each morning) and would have made more use of the bar had it been open for a nightcap. Superb welcome by Gary the GM, he's doing good work here!

This lovely older property allows a stay in Toronto that is totally different from a large commercial hotel. It has a small number of rooms and, while set on a busy road approx 700 metres from Union station, was still remarkably quiet at night. The young gentlemen on the reception were absolutely lovely and a credit to their employer; they were always helpful with a genuine smile. On arrival we walked from the train station ( a flat walk of approx 20 minutes) but later realised that the nearest metro connection is only 100 metres away! A lovely room which was immaculately clean with a very comfortable bed. A bottle of water was provided each day. The only downside was that the fixed choice breakfast (any choice of breakfast content was very limited) was served in our room and the room wasnt set up to make this something that added to our stay

Very convenient location and comfortable bed, room with ample storage and toiletries Breakfast is described as continental, has to be ordered in advance and is delivered to the room There is limited choice but the items are fresh However it may be helpful to check every evening that the order has been registered and also to remind the staff if it is not delivered at the time requested If returning late in the evening be aware that it may be some time before the bell is answered Staff numbers are small but they are always courteous and helpful
