Old victorian type lodging, very charming. We found the room/kitchen/bathroom to be quite roomy. Comfortable beds and sofas. Very close to Spadina subway station, walking distance to Koreatown.

My stay went well. Room and property were clean, staff was very helpful, location is very practical. However, when the listing says that they're neighboring a pub, take that warning seriously and bring good earplugs if you want to be able to sleep overnight. Otherwise nothing bad.

Room was a great size, bed was comfortable, bathroom had great shower. We were afraid the noise from the bar right next door would an issue but it wasn’t. The walk to our room was a bit tricky and being on the top floor without an elevator also tricky.

We stayed 2 nights. Room was clean. Parking was close but is public. It was reasonably priced. Very close to transit of all forms. Close to shops. We went to CN Tower and Scotiabank Arena. Very easy commute. It was very reasonably priced. The hotel needs some upgrades but that would affect the price. If you want a 4 star hotel this is not the place. But price was great and location was perfect.

The Madison is a quirky and lovely old building. Our room was immaculate - only problem was toooooo many stairs! As others have said, people around the building were noisy at night, but we were prepared and it didn't interfere with a very good nights sleep!

The location is amazing and in a safe area within walking distance of restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful so props for them! Room however was very disappointing. Carpet was dirty and the place just had an unclean air to it. The bar next door is very loud as other reviews have pointed out. Would only recommend for very young travelers who don’t mind the loud noises and the subpar cleanliness.

This is a great location. You’re close to the subway and get anywhere you need to easily. The staff was great. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the WiFi (plan to bring your own hotspot) but aside from that we had a great stay.
