Nice old-style hotel with new upgrades. Breakfast is good and you can have dinner there as well. Easy to walk to restaurants and nearby shopping. Parking is a bit hard to attain, especially if you don't have a compact car. Full size cars are hard to park in the area. Try to avoid summertime if you require AC, as the rooms I've stayed in don't have AC. This is the only downside.

We spent two nights at Tønderhus, a good hotel, friendly personel., good breakfast. We did not have dinner in the restaurant. The hotel as such is a bit oidfashioned and is without a bar. Our Rom was OK with good beds but with a somewhat “oldish” odeur, it helpen to open the window, though.

I booked a superior room and was not told that I would have to carry my suitcase down a flight of stairs. No offer was made to assist. The check in person did not make me feel welcome.

Jeg har boet på Tønderhus mange gange og gør det gerne igen, men denne gang fik jeg et ringe værelse, nr. 101, som var meget mørkt og forsynet med et par dårlige lamper. Skrivebordslampen var helt ubrugelig og sendte intet kys over skrivebordet. Ellers kan jeg godt lide hotellet, men vil næste gang ønske ikke at få et af værelserne 101-107. Mvh. Svend Jacobsen
