“Nice hotel. If you want a tv you need to have a room on the second floor but who needs a tv nowadays when there is WiFi. Very comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom.”

“Tombeck was nice, roomy, comfortable. Had a large kitchen fully stocked with cookware, oven, stove, kettle, microwave. We liked the large wooden dining table. A great place from which to explore Tomintoul and the Cairngorms. Also has a washing machine and dryer, but no instructions so took some time to figure them out (and the washing machine makes a loud noise and really shakes while running).”

“No se puede considerar un hotel de 3 estrellas. Ni siquiera hotel. Hay hosteles y albergues en mejor calidad y estado con menor rango de hoteleria. La cama de matrimonio, son 2 colchones pegados, uno con muelles que molestan. La ducha sin presion de agua caliente. Dentro de un rollo de papel, encontramos un vaper, de algun otro usuario o servicio de limpieza. Avisamos de estas situaciones y lo unico que dijeron fue "gracias y lo siento". Lamentable.”

“No había agua caliente por lo que no nos pudimos bañar y quitarnos el frío. Llegamos a estar a 2° y sin podernos bañar. Nos explicaron que por ser un hotel tan viejo las calderas no funcionan bien.”

“Hotel room was modern and clean can’t fault, breakfast on the other hand was not so good , £12 for a fry up….pricey and not good, the fried egg was burnt the potato scone was like rubber and the haggis was all mush, came on a rectangle plate not round or square, not fit for purpose, whoever the cook is needs to learn how to fry an egg. I would stay at the hotel again and go for breakfast somewhere else.”
