Staff was wonderful. Hotel rooms themselves were ok . The shower curtain was half the size of the shower . Room needs updating the cleaning crew did the best with what they have . The shuttle only ran until 11:00am — train station very close to hotel and quick easy ride to the airport.

Very good hotel for take a rest after a long hours on the airpliane one day see what is the start city to visit. Very good buffet in the morning basic room but clean, cozy , good food staff very nice, try to make the check in easy for you to take a rest. Very private.

Controlling the air conditioning was not easy but using the air filter helped. The remote control might need new batteries(Room 201) The breakfast was good: good quality, other than margarine, thee “Asari no tukudani” was excellent. The variety of menu was good, too. I had only Japanese menu though: I did not have any sausages, crumbled eggs, etc.

This was my second stay at the JAL City hotel Haneda airport. They have a shuttle that connects the hotel with terminal 1 of HND airport so you don't have to deal with a taxi or public transport. The hotel is reasonably priced for what you get and it is close to convenience stores, restaurants, etc. The rooms are spacious for Japanese standards. The only weak point is their breakfast - there aren't really a lot of Western options. Still, I recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again during my next layover.
