“When choosing this beautiful location we were originally looking at staying in Opotiki (15 kms south) but decided this was a far better option based on the ammenities and views offered. The price was also less than staying in your standard motel in town.
Our host was there to meet us and made us feel most welcome explaining the options and set up. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner ( The Royal) and we weren’t disappointed at all.
The surrounding area is rich with native birds...

“The motel may look a big aged but trust the owner is doing the best to keep up with the standard and welcome the guests. We had two days stay in the two bedroom unit, it was well equipped with the comfy furniture in the lounge, big fridge in the kitchen, accessible bathroom. enough beds to accommodate two families or family with adult children, handy beach access for the morning/evening walks. we certainly enjoyed our stay in the motel, will stay again when we are in the area next time too.”

“Place was exceptional. Not sure about what happens with the service. Do we wash the towels ourselves and make the bed. We went away to golf for the day and the towels had not been replaced and the bed was not made. Our dishes were still on the bench so I cleaned it all up myself. Looked through your listing”
