We took the Bernini Express and stayed in Tirano overnight. The owner met us and helped us get settled. He was very helpful and accommodating. The location was excellent, right near the train station. The owner also owns a restaurant across the street where we had the included breakfast. Usually I am skeptical about these type of referrals, but the food was excellent and we also ate lunch there by our own choice. Highly recommend!

Excelente apartamento, com ótima vista e super moderno. Infelizmente não havia água quente na hora que fomos tomar banho. Segundo o proprietário, o tanque abastece outro apartamento e provavelmente tinha acabado por conta do uso deles. Após 1 hora a situação se normalizou. Não é o ideal, mas não prejudicou a estadia.

Small but squeaky clean.

Just steps from the train station, this was perfect for a night before our trip on the Bernina Express. The rooms are very small but newly renovated and spotlessly clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. It was a little strange that there was a glass wall separating the bathroom/shower from the bedroom; we finally realized there was an electronic shade operated by a switch in the bathroom. Our only complaint would be that function was given up for design: there was no shelf or surface to put soap or shampoo on the shower, and there was no hook to hang clothing or towels in the bathroom.

Very comfortable, spacious and friendly owner

This was booked as a single night stay after our trip from Switzerland on the Bernina Express. I wanted something close to the train station(s) and that included breakfast, this checked both boxes and the rate was reasonable. The photos shown are accurate and the room was very spacious and comfortable for two people. Our room was a corner with two balconies and had amazing views of the mountain and city. Breakfast was excellent and the walk to and from the train station was only about 2min and level, which was very easy for dragging suitcase.

Put in different apartment entirely - not a hotel!

Told to meet at their cafe downstairs to get the key - the staff was incredibly rude. When the owner finally showed up, he realized he screwed up our booking, and left again for 20 minutes without telling us where he went. Comes back to say he was putting us in a “bigger apartment nearby” but we’d have to wait another 30 minutes. They probably sounds petty but when you’re tired from a long trip and want to be in your room and get out to go explore, it’s frustrating. Be warned - there is no front desk. Just some rude girls working the cafe that don’t want to be bothered running a b&b too.

Great for a stop over for the Bernina express

The room and friendliness was wonderful, the suite was very well finished and clean to highest standard bed very comfortable but no lift if you have heavy bags there is a cost for the view which is amazing

Ótima hospedagem!

Um ótimo hotel. Ficamos em um sobradinho, com quarto, banheiro, sala e cozinha no último piso, muito aconchegante. Só atento as pessoas que forem reservar e chegar tarde como no nosso caso, deixar avisado ao estabelecimento, pq chegamos pelas 20h e não havia recepção... normalmente atendem no restaurante abaixo do hotel, mas ele estava fechado.. sorte que encontramos com um senhor que nos levou até o apartamento do dono.. então, tudo resolvido! (mas como não falamos inglês nem italiano e a cidade é bem pequena com poucas pessoas na rua naquela hora, fiquei com medo de ficar sem hospedagem, vale o alerta). O café da manhã é servido no restaurante embaixo do hotel, eles questionam sobre duas opções, entendi a que vinha egg and cheese e escolhemos essa, muito bem servido! Fiquei na dúvida se poderia repetir.. :D O hotel é muito próximo a estação pela qual chegamos em Tirano e da estação Berina, na qual seguimos o passeio para Chur na Suíça.

Falta informação e água quente no chuveiro!

Utilizando GPS não é fácil localizar o hotel, pois não há qualquer indicação em placas e trata-se de uma rua de sentido único. Como fica em cima de um café, entramos pelo mesmo, mas quase ficamos presas para fora porque ninguém nos passou antes as informações sobre por onde entrar quando o café estava fechado. O estacionamento gratuito com manobrista não existe. Há 4 vagas em um estacionamento no final do quarteirão e nos cobraram 10 euros por dia. Em uma das noites, inclusive, chegamos e a vaga estava ocupada. Conforme sugeriram, paramos em outra (que não pertencia ao hotel) e tiramos o carro logo cedo no dia seguinte. O quarto era grande e limpo, e tinha uma bela vista, mas as camas eram muito baixas e não muito confortáveis, sendo uma delas, ainda, de montar, ao contrário do que escrito na reserva. Também era possível ouvir até conversas do quarto vizinho. O box do banheiro era minúsculo, mas a decepção mesmo ficou por conta da água quente, que acaba do nada no meio do banho, em menos de 15 minutos. É preciso esperar cerca de 2 horas para a boia voltar a encher e a água esquentar novamente. Para nós, que fomos em 3 pessoas, foi bastante incômodo. O café da manhã era bem restrito e sem muitas opções, sendo servido diretamente na mesa.
