“This old coaching inn is a wonderful mixture of old and new. Due to lots of steps it is not accessible for people who have mobility difficulties. The breakfast was cooked to order, which was really nice, and the service was good. The spa facilities are excellent and well worth a try. There's a great Italian restaurant just round the corner if you fancy a meal out too.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. There were biscuits and fresh milk which was a lovely treat! The radio was a nice touch and the TV had access to Netflix and YouTube. WiFi connection was a bit hot and miss but wasn't a massive issue. The bed was very comfy. I felt very relaxed staying here. I will definitely visit again!”

“Room was very dirty. Pillows had stains on them. The carpet had stains and the walls were peeling and had stains. The silicon around the sink and shower was dirty and had mildew. Dead flies on the window sills. Drawer inside the bathroom was laying on the floor. Rising damp on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom fan was dusty. Grotty room overall. Breakfast was nice and the staff were nice and friendly.”

“Lovely large sized family room. Completely clean & good quality linen. Really quiet, despite road location. Copious tea & coffee supplies too, no rushing to get another tea bag if it split with the silly string thing. Double bed was soft but supportive, the pillows the same. The extra single was an actual bed & not a roll away/sofa bed which removed any moaning from the mini one. Moaning also reduced with having an actual bath, not just a shower.
