“Our second stay at Moss Cottage and this time we were welcomed by Bill, Peter’s colleague (hello Peter!). This is a very homely place and the welcome is equally warm. The rooms are very clean with good sized en-suite bathrooms. Bill prepares home cooked breakfast at a time agreed so you know it isn’t food that’s been left on a hot plate for an hour beforehand!! “Lovely room very clean The bathroom was modern but the drainage should be looked at, had to keep the bathroom door closed to prevent the smell coming into the bedroom. Breakfast was good lots of choice”

“This older home was well maintained and comfy. It was close to the centre of Banbury and down the hill to Banbury Cross and the statue of the lady on the horse. Breakfast is included and there is a wide range of cold or hot meal options; there is a kettle in the room with tea bag’s and coffee packs with sugar and UHT milk made it easy to have a hot drink in your room early morning or in the evening. “Our stay was ok. Delicious breakfast. Great location but we have a couple gripes; the noise from the restaurant cleanup once that closed. It’s easy to forget guests may be trying to get sleep when the restaurant crew are trying to cleanup and get home. Just was a little noisy. The bigger issue was the neighbors automatic lights kept going on and off all night lighting our room up off and on all night. That should to be addressed somehow by the owners of this B&B.”
