“The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. “Absolutely stunning. Large newly renovated room, beautifully decorated. The owners are lovely and the staff too- entertaining listening to them sing in the kitchen at dinner time. I was made to feel very welcome and was addressed by my name which is a rare quality. Food is outstanding and there was even plenty of milk in the room which is unusual. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it here, and book again. Thank you to all involved. ”

“This is the review that I really dit want to do. The staff were lovely and the 'Hotel' was conveniently close to the ferry and close to the City centre The staff were great, everywhere was clean and the ‘free’ breakfast was great. The issue with this property is basic maintenance. The shower was right next to the toilet where the water went straight onto the floor. The shower was very weak and took a long time to hear up. Even though there was a slight slope you would still get water around...

“What a lovely stay run by a lovely couple. A quirky friendly B&B within easy walking distance of town ( a little up hill on the way back) Beautiful garden full of interest. A perfectly cooked breakfast in the morning made using good quality produce. Along with cereals, yogurts and juice. Homely and clean. You really felt like a guest rather than just another number moving through. They have two small friendly dogs but kept them out of the way for a guest who felt nervous around dogs....
