Staff was friendly and efficient, and the location hard to beat if one wants to stay by the water in Marin. The room amenities are clean though slightly dated. Ask for a balcony facing the pool courtyard or hills.

What we liked about the property was the location. It was walking distance to downtown with shops and a few restaurants. You can catch the ferry from there to San Francisco and Angel Island. The hotel itself is a bit dated in need of some cosmetic changes. Example, the shower head base had cracked tile and caulking around shower was very messy. The bed was too hard for my taste and it was difficult to sleep. Location made up for some of the shortcomings.
