“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. “Wonderful hotel, just surprised they don't offer a box of Kleenex in the room. I had to go down to front desk and they didn't have any either but clerk brought me some pocket pouches of tissues. Towels were Wonderful and very plush, but toilet paper was the cheapest and thinnest they could find.”
