“Booked 3 rooms at the Mercure Danum Doncaster Centre hotel and it was a mistake. The hotel was a shambles unfortunately. In our room the toilet still had poo stains and the shower gel bottle was broken - couldn't dispense the liquid inside. Our guest's room was unclean and there was someone chain smoking next door - the corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. He found blood stains on his curtains as well. “We stayed in one of the family rooms overlooking the park. The rooms were comfy, clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. Our room looked onto the park, with views of the animals which the kids were delighted about. We had breakfast included. There was plenty of choice, albeit the quality of the food wasn't the best. That said, there was lots of space, and helpful staff. The hotel was perfectly situated for us. Overall a great stay.”

“Family room - the room, beds and shower room all clean. Plenty of pillows with the option of firm and soft, duvet is a little small for the bed and the one on the sofa bed was also too small if 2 sharing, so you may need to request extra ones. Aircon is fab for the summer kept the room lovely and cool. Sofa bed is a tight squeeze for 2 children but bed has plenty room for 2 adults. Communal areas very clean and spacious although the dining area can get a little busy during the breakfast. As for...

“Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.”
