Communications with the property and the checking process was easy and smooth. Unit was clean and comfortable. The view was excellent and my favorite area. The restaurant by the pool has very good food. The unit will be excellent with some needed upgrades, Overall, it was a great stay.

The property was exactly as pictured and did not disappoint. The balcony view was absolutely beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The pool was also a great way to cool down and relax in the Florida heat. Overall, I really enjoyed the property and stay!

My daughter & I had an amazing time in The Hemingway condo. Fabulous host communication, Super clean, very comfortable beds, and such a convenient location for our day trips to St. Pete’s, ZooTampa & Clearwater Beach. Our last day we had an evening flight out, we checked out and still utilized the private beach, pool and tiki bar/restaurant. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend! -Anna P.

Everything about this condo was nice, except for the deceptive description of it as a two-bedroom. It is a one-bedroom, with another bed in the living room. Not only does the bed take up the entire living room (if more than one person wants to watch tv they'll have to sit on the bed with you), but there is neither a closet nor any kind of bureau or storage for the person in the living room. You are putting your suitcase on the floor and using it there. Everything in the apartment is fine - there is a kitchen and an adequate (small) bathroom. The owners put a lot of effort into weird quirky decorations like an antique typewriter (because Hemingway), astroturf on the walls, and a LOT of glassware. I would have traded all of that for a chest of drawers. The balcony is small but comfortable and has a nice view of the sandy bayfront area (not a swimming beach) and the beautiful sunsets. The restaurant by the pool is excellent and friendly. The complex itself is clean and in good repair. I would call it "unpretentious" rather than "luxurious," but that was fine with me.

Although there is no hotel staff onsite it was very cozy and close to the airport and beaches. The Hemingway is set up for a longer stay than a hotel. Think of it as your own apartment equipped with everything but food!

I chose this apartment because it was advertised as a 2-bedroom apartment with a beautiful bay view, and I was willing to pay a premium price for what I expected would be a special experience. Unfortunately, the property did not match the description. The apartment has only one enclosed bedroom. The second bed is placed in the living room directly in front of the kitchen, leaving no actual second bedroom or functional living room. Had the listing clearly described the layout as a one-bedroom apartment with an additional bed in the living room, I would have chosen a different property. The bay view was nice, but it did not make up for the disappointment with the apartment layout. There was also a persistent noise coming from the air conditioning throughout the night, and although I understand the elevator issue was outside the owner's control, it added to the overall inconvenience. I contacted both the property manager and Expedia immediately after check-in to try to reach a fair resolution. While Expedia eventually offered partial compensation after escalation, I was disappointed that the listing accuracy issue was never directly addressed. My recommendation to future guests is to carefully verify the actual layout before booking, especially if you expect a true two-bedroom apartment. Accuracy in the listing would have avoided this entire situation.
