I highly recommend Mono Luxe Villas for anyone looking for a place to stay in Tamarindo, I stayed one night with my wife and kid and found it very safe, super clean, a minute or two walk to the beach and Jose at the front desk was very accommodating.

This hotel is absolutely perfect, located in a quiet location. Very clean and well maintained. Only 2 minutes walk to the beach. If I return to Tamarindo I will be definitely staying again at this hotel

Tony was so helpful and newly renovated super clean and very spacious and have kitchen but no stove . Better to have stove but otherwise everything is goods close to beach and other stores. We stayed 4 days and Tony help a lot for anything. Will book again if we go.

After booking 8 days here and 3 days at an AI resort, this was a chance to experience something new & modern within Tamarindo that allowed us to walk most places. Beach was actually 2min walk.We decided to cancel our AI stay and extended here. We (2 Adults, 2 kids under 9) stayed in a modular 2- bedroom villa suite. We asked for highest floor (3rd) with the best view. We got a “partial ocean view” which wasn’t advertised but pleasantly surprised when we arrived. As some noted, the beds (1 king, 2 queens) and pillows were very comfortable. Probably the best I’ve experienced while traveling. Might be that this “condotel” is only 2 months old, hopefully they can hold up. A/c was cold.The rooms were large enough for our family & the balcony’s expansive. The underground secured parking for our rental was also an added bonus. The staff was easily available through WhatsApp which made communication a breeze. Tony went above and beyond to make our family’s stay a memorable one and part of the reason we extended our stay. Laura was also very accommodating and made us feel at home. As with most new hotels, kinks will arise but I’m sure will be fixed. The elevator stopped working a number of times so had to walk up. The bbq had no utensils so tough to cook. No laundry room yet. Ants found their way into our room. The balcony could use more seating/dining. The shower spills water everywhere and needs the gaps blocked. Beach club hasn’t broken ground yet but looks great. Loved it!

Mono Luxe Villas was a great modern brand new condo style rental with the option of a on suite kitchen, Tony at the front desk was more than helpful and super friendly. Great location 3 min walk to the beach literary across the street.

The building is brand new and really nice. The apartment is very spacious and has a nice kitchen, but there’s no stove. It would be great to have at least one burner so you can cook a simple meal. The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the beach and about 5 minutes from downtown Tamarindo.

We had a horrible experience before coming to this place so we were extraordinarily happy to find a clean location. This place is brand new so it’s very clean and wonderful. The only thing I would say is that if you’re planning a big visit to Tamarindo stay at this place in 2027 and check that the construction is finished. They are currently building a club and pool area on the beach across from the rooms that we stayed at. If you stay before 2027 and you want a pool, they are offering for you to pay a price to go to their sister club. This however is very expensive so I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Alternatively, the beach access is right across from the hotel and you can do surf lessons, etc.. One other thing I would say about Tamarindo is to pay a bit more money and get a clean place otherwise you get a dirty place that is falsely advertised..

La ubicación y logística es excelente!! A menos 100 metros caminando de la playa, con Starbucks, restaurantes de todo tipo y minisuper en un radio de 200 metros, y al mismo tiempo estar en una zona segura y exclusiva, sobre la calle principal, definitivamente es la mejor opción. Adicionalmente, la comodidad del parque subterraneo para accesar directamente con código y de ahí subir a los apartamentos, hace que uno se sienta como en casa.

Si buscan un lugar nuevo, moderno y con ubicación imbatible en Tamarindo, Mono Luxe Villas es la respuesta. El complejo (estrenado este 2026) tiene una arquitectura moderna hermosa y espacios muy bien diseñados. Nos tocó una joya de villa: tercer piso, esquinera, con un balcón espectacular y vista al mar. El parqueo en el sótano es un plus enorme por seguridad y comodidad (ideal si llueve, ya que subes directo en ascensor). La ubicación es perfecta: a 50 metros de la playa y a pasos de todo (Starbucks, Eneas, Sofia-Pandeli y minisuper a menos de 1 o 2 cuadras). Mención especial a Tony por un check-in excelente, rápido y súper amable. ¡Volveremos seguro!
