Hotel was centrally located, and is more modern than the exterior might suggest We had a suite which I highly recommend for the Ironman race as the space allowed us to build the bike in the lounge area and had a bath area, and bed was really comfortable. We didn't have an issue with the tram noise you can hear it but it wasn't to the point it disturbed us. The staff are really helpful and friendly, would come back and recommend to others considering Tallin.

Palace Hotel Tallinn was a great place to stay with easy access to the Old Town. We accessed the hotel via a quick taxi ride from the port. There are numerous places to eat nearby and the area was safe and walkable. We really enjoyed the room as it was very clean and well organized. The hotel lobby was comfortable to have a quick drink prior to exploring the area nearby area. We would definitely stay at the Palace Hotel Tallinn again.
