Mayer Inn is very close to Taipei Main Station and various restaurants 7/11 and family mart nearby. The hotel itself is inside a Plaza on the 5th floor. There are only two elevators on the ground floor that will take you to the 5th floor reception. We stayed on the the 4th floor and did experience long waits for the elevator especially during peak hours and on the weekends. We stayed in a windowless room which was ok, the walls are a bit thin so you will hear noise from neighbors or people walking along the hallway. Housekeeping came almost everyday. We were without Wi-Fi on the 4th floor for 2 days. Reception advised we connect to the 3rd or 5th floor. But the Wi-Fi was not that strong, it was resolved later during our stay.

This was just a layover stop from BNE to CDG with Eva Air. Had 20 hours so booked 2 nights. Airport to here by train fairly easy. It is clean and quiet. Thats all we needed. Left 7pm for our next flight. Worked out fine to break trip.

The room was clean and nice, it had everything I needed. I was able to check in early when I came at 2pm Even though their check in time is 5pm. The staffs were really friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient for us to get everywhere we wanted to go, close to the Taipei Main Station which really great.

This hotel consists of three hundred rooms on three floors in a high-rise across the street from the main train station. This hotel has one purpose: to provide convenient lodging and 24/7 service adjacent to transportation. They do extremely well at cleaning and maintaining the property, checking people in and out and storing your bags (in the lobby!), but don't expect any other amenities. It doesn't really matter because there are plenty of places to eat in the neighborhood. My room was clean, comfortable, small and windowless; I assume the other 299 are the same. I was there during the off season and they were kind enough to upgrade me to a larger room, which I appreciated.

Hotel location is good. Plenty of food around the area. MRT is walking distance. Washing laundry is at level 3, we use it during our stay as well. Overall the staying is quiet and peaceful.. No noice can be heard from other room. will book again this hotel when we visit taipei again.

We had a great room, corner with a good view of the city Staff cleans room evryday and change towels and water. If.meeded more coffee or slippers they will change it as well. We had same floor as the admin 5th floor, its not noisy since we got the corner room. Overall i would come back again

The only thing i did not like was that I booked a room with window, they even confirmed it at reception, only to find out that the window is locked and frosted so you actually dont see anything. Staff even told us not to open the window. So what was the point of selling me a room with a window? Lol

Located in a very convenient area. The hotel is inside a highrise building, but you need to go up to 5th floor for check in, then the rooms are spread out from 3rd floor to 5th floor. Room is in good condition, no smell of dirtiness. However, first night, I caught a small cockroach. Bed is not the most soft or fluffy, but is pretty good. Clean bathroom. Staffs are just okay , will answer your questions but not that super friendly . A lots of good food places surrounding the hotel that you can walk to.

I must admit I was a bit apprehensive when I first arrived: the building is old and the room is tiny, with no windows. However, after the initial shock, my stay was quite pleasant. The bed is decent, the room temperature was always comfortable, and the shower is good with plenty of hot water. It’s modest accommodation, but it had everything I needed for a functional stay, as I really only went back there to sleep. The biggest highlight here is the location: simply perfect and close to everything. If you are young, on a budget, and don't mind the lack of frills, I highly recommend it!

Spacious enough for three queen size beds for three adults and luggage. Modern and clean, amenities were fine. Early check in was requested as we were a party of three seniors and they were able to accommodate us a few hours early, which we greatly appreciated. One tiny drawback was not being able to lower the thermostat just a little but overall was not a real problem. Great value and super convenient location.
