“Overall, it was a nice place for our one night stay. Room was nice and cold, but the common areas were hot and muggy which wasn’t ideal to hang around in all day waiting for a flight. The only other area to nitpick was the bathroom in the rooms: small space and door makes maneuvering a hassle. However, close to restaurants, airport and the market.”

“Location was great, across the street from the ferry station! The room was modern, super clean and staff were spectacular! We left our camara memory card in the room and they were so helpful and assured we could recover it on our way back to Tahiti! 10 out of 10!!!”

“The Teahupo’o surf break is basically directly out front (off-shore at the reef, of course) but water taxis are right at the shore by the front gate of pension so the location could not be better from that POV. It’s a short walk (5 minutes) on a nice beach path from the Teahupo’o photo wave spot and Olympic rings, or you can drive to the pension and park but only if you’ve got a vehicle capable of river-crossing - so that adds to the charm of the place as well. “Personal con bajo nivel de inglés, ninguna amabilidad, pague 3 noches y use solo dos pues se retrasó mi vuelo y aún así el check out lo tuve que hacer 10am y no me dejaron dejar mis maletas o usar regaderas después de esa hora en alguna habitación aún teniendo disponibles, la única opción que me dieron fue pagar otra noche, al final me prestaron regadera de su personal de trabajo para cambiarme pues mi avión salía hasta la noche, la isla es preciosa pero si es algo difícil encontrar restaurantes...

“I stayed in the Kava bungalow which I thought was excellent. That said, the stairs to the loft where the main bed is are small and steep so something to keep in mind if you need to try to make it down to use the bathroom and back up in the dead of night. The grounds and the view are straight out of your favourite travel influencer’s TikTok, so that’s a highlight, for sure. And the food at the restaurant was great.
