Beautiful hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms with an amazing staff. The only thing I’d change would be the parking garage… spaces are a bit tight if you have a non-compact car.

Very helpful staff. I booked a wheelchair accessible room. The bed was impossible to use a Hoyer lift with however, this is always the case. If they would just put the bed on risers in the accessible rooms, it would be very, very helpful. Restaurant was good and it’s a great location for exploring the museums in Tacoma..

The room was tiny and modern. I love how clean and well-managed the hotel is! The open-air pool on the fifth floor was a welcome feature. I could not have expected more than a pleasant swim during a sunny September afternoon. A brief walk leads to the Museum of Glass, along with several spots for food and drink. The hotel Wi-Fi presented only a minor problem. I encountered several disconnections in both the room and the lobby during Zoom calls. It’s not something their staff can fix though. The staff were kind and accommodating. Check-in and checkout were quick and enjoyable.

The staff were all very nice. The people in the restaurant were fast and friendly. The room was clean and pretty quiet. We used the gym and it was huge and very well maintained and had a lot of equipment. Some of the public places ( bathrooms and hallways) could use a little TLC but other than that we had a great stay.

Had a knock on the door ar 12:30am by security who was unsure why I was in the room (that I paid for). Then woken up by another knock on the door 15 min later and asked to be escorted by security to the front desk as they "had placed me in the wrong room by accident". How could I be "placed" in the wrong room when you took my information for credit card and ID when I had checked in 6 hours before? They asked me if I was willing to "Change Rooms" in the middle of the night... Absolutely not! I think this is totally unacceptable customer service from any hotel let alone the Marriot Brand. Hotel supervisor said they would refund me for my 1 night stay the next morning and that never happened either. Nice hotel, but horrible night staff and customer service.. I will not return to the Marriot Tacoma ever again.
