Everything about the View was great. The rooms were as described, amazing views, the restaurant delivered quality food at great prices and staff were friendly and helpful. My only negatives would that the breakfast buffet wasn’t very hot, and staying above the train lines was very noisy. I wish i had known how loud and close the trains were and how much it would impact my sleep so i could have requested a room on a higher floor. Perhaps complimentary ear plugs would help but otherwise happy with our stay

The View is a lovely hotel with excellent amenities, fantastic views and fresh rooms. The breakfast is exceptional and the coffee was good. The only downside is that it is located above North Sydney station so you can hear and feel the trains right up till 12 midnight and on again from 5:30am. Maybe the upper rooms are shielded from this but level 1 isn't. This was the only issue I had, so if you do choose to book, make it clear you want a quiet room. Nothing worse than seeing nosie blocking ear buds in the bathroom.
