“The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.”

“I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again.”

“We recently stayed at Longs Inn in Woburn for one night and, unfortunately, were quite disappointed. The property is in need of some updating and, overall, we found it looked tired, outdated and rather scruffy. Our bedroom had clearly been dusted and hoovered, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the furniture was very old and the room generally felt like it needed some investment. “Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area.”
