A staff that is wonderful. Honest, good willed, caring people. Room was decent. Probably among the better places to stay in Sulpher. Off the main drag a big. If you need a place to stay for a few hours. Better alone than with a partner for the double bedrooms. Cost worth.

The rooms at Relax Inn are sparkling clean, and rather well-appointed for a 1960s (1950s?) vintage motel that has been spruced up a bit. Big screen TV, microwave, and in-room refrigerator all are nice modern touches. Family run by a friendly, very accommodating staff.

I thought I was going to the OYO property on I-10. I got to the hotel and there were no lights on the parking lot. In fact, I did not see any lights other than the sign out front. The neighborhood beside it was sketchy. The street in front was a 2 lane road with few lights. I did not even get out of my car. I pulled into the parking next door to contact another hotel and I was concerned just sitting in my car. How in the world did this hotel get a rating of 8.2? Was that the rating for the OYO hotel on I-10?

This place is a slum and a rip off. The pictures are completely misleading and they are crooks who will charge you even though you never checked in. When I arrived the place had rooms with towels and laundry hanging from doors. The staff is also hostile and gave me dirty looks when I pulled into the parking lot. Expidia should not even have this property on their site. They say non refundable because it’s probably the only way they make any money. One star overrated it.

Was nice friendly staff. Used it as a place to rest and shower while our plumbing was being fixed at the house. Shower had great water pressure. AC worked great. Just a nice place to relax.

This was a horrible experience from start to finish. The owners were rude, dismissive and short with me. On top of that ourAC was broke and there was no one in the front to report it to, and in the morning when I told him the AC was broke he didn't care. When I went into the room initially and told him it wasn't working he said give it ten minutes. That man knew it wasn't going to work, then he gave me my deposit back as if he was doing me a favor. Then he told us were to park and we ended up being blocked in. I was also very itchy and something was biting me as I slept. Don't go here unless it's a last resort

TERRIBLE experience! Definitely NOT a VIP property! Bent pole holding up porch overhang with peeling paint. Paint peeling off of all exterior doors. Paint peeling off of inside of exterior door and both sides of bathroom door. One lock only for exterior door – no interior door latch. Paint peeling off apron/front face of sink. 3 light bulbs above sink – 1 burnt out and 1 missing. One dresser with 4 drawers and one end table with a drawer. ALL drawers had mold inside the bottom of the drawers and one had stuff left in it. No telephone. 2 double beds – one had a top sheet so thin you could see through it. No stoppers for sink or tub. No shampoo or hair dryer. Tub handle turned counter-clockwise. Commode handle and tank held together with black electrical tape. Direct TV but only a remote for Direct TV – this remote would not turn on the TV or control the volume. TV had a button to turn it on but no way to control volume which was way too low with the noisy A/C. Gaps in the caulking of the tub. Rusted shower rod.
