“Pros:: Lovely old pub, AC worked well, great location, plenty of parking, big room and bathroom. Bed was hard, but that is personal preference. Old building is beautiful but with it comes low beams, uneven steps, etc. Con's: Breakfast seemed a bit disjointed (only 1 staff member on) kept having to find staff (same with check out) - not a huge issue as pub not that big. “2 night stay 1st night power cut and 2nd night an 18th birthday rave. The landlord of the adjacent pub absolutely outstanding service and care. There was entertainment on the Saturday night with an outstanding singer. Great night. However the hotel had a private 18th birthday rave which they didn’t inform us of and we experienced 3 hours of heavy dance music that made room vibrate and caused cups to fall off table.
