“Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“Lovely property but hard to keep the gardens at their best with the current drought in Hampshire. Our room #3 was beautiful, good shower and bathroom, very comfortable bed. The outdoor seating area could use a clean up around the the apple tree but no doubt hard to do given the hot summer weather. The fish and chips was terrible. The full English breakfast was good. “Room was clean, and windows were excellently glazed to prevent any traffic noise from the streets. Very convenient with the bus stop right outside to get to the ferry as well as Newport/anywhere else on the isle. Osbourne house right across the street. food options were limited around the pub, but the floating bridge to Cowes conveniently down the road by either a 20 min walk or the bus.”
