“First the positives. Helpful cheerful staff and good facilities: dining room and bar were nicely decorated and set out. The food served at breakfast was very good. Location of hotel is perfect for exploring Bakewell town centre, which is beautiful. Negatives. We had a room in the annexe across the road. The car parking for the hotel is a bit limited: so first come, first served. This annexe room would have been fine in autumn, but in a heatwave (25 degrees Celsius outside) it was essentially...

“The room was lovely although it had roof lights rather than windows which was a shame as the location of the building is breathtaking. The views from the building location are truely stunning, especially as we were there over a spring "heatwave" and it was so beautiful. Because of that, plenty of people were sitting at the fantastic outdoor seating area overlooking the valley. The dinners were excellent which is obviously the other reason it is such a popular pub. “My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb.”
