“The host was nice and the view of Kazbek Mountain and Gergeti Trinity Church was great. Sleeping in the upper floor climbing up the ladder was inconvenient. ”

She replied to all our questions really quickly, gave us great tips on hiking trails, and even helped us book a taxi with a local Georgian driver who didn’t speak English. The room was perfect for the three of us—spacious, cozy, and with the most amazing view of Mount Kazbegi and the church. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. ”
