Very clean cabin, and very nice. Very comfortable bed (I’m talking really comfortable). You park right next to your assigned cabin which is always nice !! I’d give it a 10 !!!

Slips are convenient, safe - gas and diesel are available as well as fresh water. Cabins are clean and the AC super cold. It's the quieter side of the river, so to speak.. not quite as crowded and low key. There's a restaruant/bar onsite (not open Mon/Tue) which is nice if you'd like a drink. As of this writing (6/2026) you can see that there are still post-hurricane renovations going on, but still a great stay.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The cabin seemed to be freshly renovated with beautiful all-wood interior. Furniture and bedding were clean. Sufficient chinaware and pots/pans for 6 people. However, the cabin and public restrooms on the grounds were infested with cockroaches and ants. For that reason, there's no way I would eat at the on-site restaurant! And second, there is no pool even though a pool is advertised on the website. Staff said, "Oh yeah, we need to take that off the site."

Beautifully rustic place with everything you could want for a quiet getaway. Cabins are well maintained and stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, dishes and pots and pans. A binder with all the information you could possibly need is in the cabin and late check in was a breeze! I will definitely be back!!

This is the second time we have stayed at Good Times Motel and Marina and we absolutely love it. The accommodations are excellent, the staff is friendly and very helpful. There is also a restaurant at the marina that will cook your catch. Our fish was fried to perfection.
