I had a two night stay, Monday June 8th-Wednesday June 10th. Melissa, housekeeping associate made sure my room was clean by the time I came back from the complimentary breakfast on the morning of June 9th. Really clean room and made sure I had all amenities and the pool and complimentary breakfast were a great add on as well.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful! Had an issue with the bathroom, they immediately rectified the situation for us. The onsite restaurant was good too. Amenities were great even for a short weekend stay. Would recommend!

Very sad upgrades to say it is the Penn State University. And Football Season and the huge price hikes should be able to cover any updates or upgrades needed to remain at the PSU Standard. Staff and restaurant was great. Loved the special Chocolate Chip cookies but use the Doubletree standard for the cookie experience so to not appear second rate Kmart vs Walmart.

Room was decent tho it seems it has seen a lot fo travelers - some of the equipment (exhaust fan) seemed kind of worn, and front door to the room seemed it’s gone through a couple renovations without replacement. But, easy stay and breakfast was wonderful - so it worked for my quick stay at state college for the weekend!
