Heerlijk ontbijt, centraal gelegen, mooi zwembad op het dak. EĂ©n nadeel, ik kon er niet in zwemmen vanwege ijskoud water in oktober. Niet verwarmd. Vlakbij het busstation.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, Restaurants und Strand sind schnell erreichbar. Insgesamt wĂŒrden wir es aber nicht noch einmal buchen. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck ist sehr einfach, vieles wirkt wie TK-/Fertigware, wenig frisch und kaum Abwechslung. Einen grĂ¶ĂŸeren Aufpreis dafĂŒr wĂŒrden wir nicht empfehlen. Im Hotel selbst ist es außerhalb der Zimmer extrem warm. Unsere Klimaanlage brauchte etwa 5–6 Stunden, bis das Zimmer angenehm kĂŒhl war. In einigen AufzĂŒgen roch es zeitweise deutlich nach Urin. Die allgemeine Sauberkeit fanden wir eher schwach. Besonders der Pool auf der oberen Etage wirkte stark verschmutzt und nicht regelmĂ€ĂŸig grĂŒndlich gereinigt. Unser Zimmer lag nicht auf der Meerseite. Dort hört man dauerhaft sehr laute LĂŒftungsanlagen, Ventilatoren oder Generatoren, sodass man die BalkontĂŒr kaum offen lassen kann. FĂŒr einen ruhigen Erholungsurlaub wĂŒrden wir das Hotel ebenfalls nicht empfehlen. Die AtmosphĂ€re ist eher laut und unruhig, mit vielen Party-GĂ€sten. Positiv sind vor allem die Lage und grundsĂ€tzlich das Preisniveau fĂŒr 3 Sterne. Insgesamt gibt es unserer Meinung nach aber bessere Alternativen.

Unfortunately, the Mayflower experienced a laundry room fire before my arrival unbeknownst to me. The hotel had to be closed down. They were kind enough to re book me into the Doubletree by Hilton, where I stayed for the duration of my trip. This was done at no charge to me. Communication with the reservation staff prior to my arrival was very efficient and pleasant. However, communication with their corporate representatives after arrival was not very good. Perhaps understandable given the situation. They must have had their hands full with re situating their guests and daily arriving guests, at other hotels. I certainly hope that no one was injured by the fire. The Doubletree staff were very accommodating and helpful and I enjoyed my stay there very much.

Lovely hotel overall and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I did go in peak season but the pool area was always very full with limited lounger space. I paid for the top floor sea view room with a balcony and it just felt a bit tired. The robes included were very tatterd and what looked to be bleach stained. We did enjoy our stay and we're only there one night.

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Pool is lovely but generally full of canoodling couples so if that’s your thing then you’ll love it. Not great if you’re a teen who wants to splash around a bit.

Great location, friendly staff. A/C throughout. The pool isn’t really big enough to have a swim in more so just to cool off from the hot weather, gets quite crowded midday-evening but plenty of sunbeds available. Pool bar is great with a good selection of drinks and snacks.

well situated close to attractions and Bugibba Bus terminal. The hotel is clean,with nice sized rooms and bathroom. The rooftop pool has a great view and I always managed to get a lounge chair. I would recommend staying here

The shower glass exploded due to poor structure support (even though there was nothing hanging from it as we were 5 minutes from checking out) causing glass to go everywhere in the room. When the staff was made aware they tried to charge us (they thought that since we were 2 young girls they could easily pressure us into it) for the damage instead of taking accountability for the the risk this imposed and realizing how badly this could have injured us if were were in the shower while it was happening. The only back down from wanting to charge us after mentioning how badly this looked for them as a hotel caring more about the cost than their customers and how this could have seriously injured us. I strongly suggest the hotel checks all the other showers since this happened out of the blue and could possibly happen again. I also suggest the hotel looks at their morals and values on how to treat customers who are clearly in shock and worried about incidents as such.

Clean room good quality towels comfy beds. Excellent breakfast. Staff polite and very helpful. We had an issue with the noise from the hotel behind (Santana ) from the cooling tower, we asked to change room at 1.15 in the morning because we couldn’t sleep. We asked for a room at the front, the staff were so helpful with us moving rooms. We have stayed here many times, this is the first time we have had a problem which was the hotel behinds fault not the Mayflower’s.

The hotel delivers what it says on the website. Great location, friendly staff, clean, new, good gym, good pool with less demand for beds than I expected (1st July for 7 nights), good breakfast, good room. Good price. Noting exceptional. Bottom line:- I would stay again or recommend - it delivers what it says it will deliver 🙂

The room was clean and timely maintained by housekeeping. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor infinity pool and rooftop deck was amazing especially to watch sunsets. It is very centrally located to everything, restaurants and just a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach.

Rooftop pool was amazing! The hotel was great value for money and nicely located with very helpful staff and nice rooms. The hotel breakfast was a bit of a letdown, at least for the hot food section the quality wasn’t there and there wasn’t a great variety
 but I would definitely stay again!

Stayed here a few times and always enjoyed. My only picky point is how useless some of the staff were at the roof top pool. In the past it was always kept clean and tidy with someone going around collecting all the rubbish due to the food orders you can have from the poolside bar plus empty glasses just left for hours either on the floor or on the empty sun beds. Yet staff just standing behind the bar doing nothing.
