Manager was right annoyed that I booked in late, however from the minute I booked the room to check in was about 10 minutes. If you’re not open late then state that in the app as it a pain to get a refund and find another room. Otherwise, room was clean, bed was comfortable. I would stay again.

Checked in around 6pm. Left immediately to attend a wake, did not get back to the room until 1am and the smell walking into the room was awful- wasn’t sure what the smell was. There was mouse poop above the AC and dust in every corner. Looked like the door had been kicked in a few times. As well as the door was dirty (pretty sure it has never been wiped down since the lodge opened) We left the room to let it air out and went back to the wake until around 4am. When we returned the smell was still there even with the window. Was so exhausted from travelling and the wake, that I grabbed pillows and sheets from my vehcime and placed them over top of the bed for a short nap before we had to attend the funeral. Would not recommend staying in room 28. We did know other people who stayed in the lodge and their room was completely clean. Not sure if this room was over looked.

I'll start with the positives, because there are few. Hotel manager was friendly and accommodating. AC worked, although not well and very loud. Shower was fine, and bed sheets appeared clean. Nothing else was clean though. It looks like the room is never properly cleaned. The area did not feel safe, I was hastled by other guests in the parking lot, and someone knocking on my door one night to try and sell drugs. It was apparent the door had been kicked in in the past and poorly repaired. I did not see bed bugs, but there were lots of other bugs in the room, especially the bathroom. Fruit flys were living in the sink. The bathroom constantly smells damp, and if I shifted my weight on the floor tiles I could hear water underneath. Something smelled mildly of urine, I think it was the lounge chair. If you're desperate, it's fine I guess. I did actually sleep well on the bed. But I would not recommend this place.

As motels go, it's of excellent value. While there's no perks like breakfast, it has a warm bed, good water pressure and clean. If all you need is that while visiting St Paul, this is a good spot to be, especially as it's a short walking distance to the UFO landing pad while youre waiting to be picked up on the next trip to Alpha Centauri

The room I stayed in was simple but pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. When I arrived, the room smelled clean. It was very pleasant. I just needed a place with a roof over my head for the night and this Lodge surpassed my expectations. For the comfort of the bed, I would stay here again without a doubt. The person at the front office was friendly and accommodating. There was no trouble at all. This was the only staff member I interacted with. They do have pet friendly rooms and they have signage to confirm that.

I guess you get what you pay for the room had lots of cobwebs and spiders. Beds were comfortable and clean. No hot water Even to wash your face never mind a shower, asked for a blow dryer to be put in room. There was no blow dryer.

Old motel room. Used to be a smoking room and you could still smell the stale smoke from years past. Room is now non-smoking with a fine if you smoke in room. Not sure how you would tell. People in next room stood at doorway and smoked so not sure if that is ok. Good bed and good shower head were a nice surprise. Room was clean, bathroom could be better cleaned. Biggest problem was there was no heat. Turned up temperature but no heat for 2 days. It was a rainy and cool couple of days and heat would have been nice. We got into room late at night after office was closed so never did ask them about it.
