“The staff are very helpful and parking behind pub very good. . Food to a high standard. Room was very comfortable with a large shower as requested. I am unable to use a bath so requested a shower due to my lack of mobility. The room had tea and coffee facilities and towels, robes and slippers BUT the bed, although comfortable, was extremely low. Apparently all the beds are the same height according to a member of staff. It caused a real problem in the night as I had to wake my husband twice...

Our room was a standard room at the top of the house and it was very clean with a nice ensuite and a comfortable bed. “We were in an annex, not in the main hotel. The room was clean, but the space was very small with the 'bedroom' on a mezzanine floor. The roof sloped so much it was difficult not to crack your head on the ceiling. The bed was a small double. The towels were old and must have been washed using conditioner as they did not dry you after a shower. There was a beer festival on the weekend we stayed and the volume of the music outside was exceptionally loud and even inside the annex with the door and...

“We stayed the night before our son's wedding. We booked two rooms. Both had a lot of mosquitoes. The other room also had some sort of bugs which inflicted nasty bites. The day after I called the pub to let them know they had an issue. I was told a manager would call me back. Four days later I have heard nothing. Very unimpressed. Will never stay again.”
